The boy is still sick. Really, really sick. We called the exchange this afternoon and have a list of things to watch for, any one of which means an expedited trip back to the ER. Every thing on the list has happened at least once in the past 24 hours, so I'm bracing myself for the possibility we'll be heading in at some point. Hopefully not, for E's sake.
M's mom is arriving on a midnight flight so M and I can spend some time at work this week, eat something other than takeout, and have clean clothes and sippy cups. It's amazing how many sippy cups one toddler can go through when you're "pushing fluids" by offering 3 different options per hour.
I'm so tired and so worried. This is really hard.

K, I am so incredibly sorry you are going through this. A sick child is terrifying. I am sending my best thoughts your way and saying prayers for E (hope that is okay). I am sorry I am not closer and can't be of more help. ((hugs))
Thinking about you guys!!
oh man... I hope E starts to feel better.. Being sick is fun for no one... Hang in there!
Aw, I hope that E is on the mend soon. Poor little guy. :(
Oh no! I'm thinking of you guys and hoping that E takes a turn for the better soon.
Oh no, I hope he is improving steadily and you won't need to head back to the ER.
Awful, awful, awful. So sorry you all are still dealing with this. I hope it's roseola so that it ends soon and he never has to worry about it again.
You have all been in my prayers. I hope he is well very soon. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. You are such a wonderful mum!
Thinking of you guys... Hoping things brighten up for little E soon!

So sorry that E. has been so sick and you are so scared. I hope things are improving as I type these words.
Dear K, M and E:) sending huge hugs and healing thoughts your way. I hope they all figure out what is wrong and fix it soon. Can't imagine how hard that is - our little ones are so precious. (isobel has a cold at three weeks and I'm just a nervous wreck.) Hope big strong E can beat this really soon. Glad you have help coming. Sending much love to all.
Sending lots of love. That is the worst when they are sick. Have they ruled out roseola? Bliss had it awful for over 5 days when he was little.
Also an aside incase it helps. I learned when Bliss was a baby that tylenol does NOT touch his fevers at all. Ibuprofen does but not TYlenol and since learning this I have met many who have said the same thing but it can totally switch. That for fever reduction one product may not touch their child but another works like a charm.
